All of RageBaby's clothes are Fair Traded

From the very beginning, we have bought all of our shirts and onesies directly from the Fair Trade Zone (formerly known as COMAMNUVI), a women's cooperative in Managua, Nicaragua. So there's no intermediary to mark them up, no fat cat's idle lifestyle of waste and debauchery to support. Every dime you pay goes to the people who bring you the clothes. Fair Trade is especially important in the clothing and textile industry, where abuse of workers' rights, especially of women workers, is severe and widespread.

Homeless and displaced after their community was destroyed by Hurricane Mitch in 1998, the members of the coop worked 20 hours a week without pay for two years to build the facilities and get the business up and running. They own the coop and run it democratically. Their products are also available from Maggie's Organics, a Michigan clothing company that was instrumental in the coop's development.

If you are a business and would like to buy directly from the Fair Trade Zone, feel free to email us or the coop. (If you do not speak Spanish fluently, you should probably contact us.)

We are a small family business with a whole lotta love. To offer lower prices, we try to do as much as possible ourselves. Our website, our designs, our tie dyes, our storage, our shipping,... It has really paid off. Our prices for specialty tees are lower than the others you'll find on the web. Even our organic cotton shirts - which are often extremely expensive - are less expensive than other companies' t-shirts made with conventional cotton. So, please delight in your child's orneriness with a onesie, a baby tee, or a kid's t-shirt. We also have some long-sleeved adult tees. You pick the designs and we'll send them right out!

What do we offer? Cool baby clothes, funny baby t-shirts, off beat baby shirts. Some political baby clothes; all smartass baby clothes.
